EuroMillions Lottery Hits 250th Draw

The UK National Lottery helped set up the Euro Lotto back in 2004 before creating the EuroMillions Lottery. The lottery is held in a record breaking nine EU countries and its popularity is increasing by the day.

With jackpot winnings of a phenomenal £15,000,000 it's no wonder that there's such tremendous interest in hitting those winning numbers. If no winners come forward, the pot rolls over to the next draw.

Within five years it is believed that a World Lottery Draw may be implemented. This comes hot on the heels of the success of the EuroMillions draw. The CEO of Camelot - Dianne Thompson - believes that as many as 100 millionaires could be created every month with such a concept.

In order to generate such huge winnings up to twenty countries would need to participate. If the World Lottery Draw is to rival US payouts, it is going to need huge participation which may be within reach seeing as almost 50 nations have already expressed interest in the concept.
