Great Britain will have to meet the expectations of the home crowd at 2012 London Olympic Games.
Team GB always goes in the Olympics facing big expectations from its loyal followers, but the role of playing host at this year’s 2012 London Games means it will receive even more attention than usual.

William Hill Online is offering odds on all the Team GB Olympics action, beginning with a little challenge that will spice up the competition between the men’s and women’s track and field teams. Hills is offering 1/3 on the men coming away with more medals at London 2012, while it will deliver 9/4 on the women winning the gender war.
Team GB will be pinning its biggest hopes on Mo Farah, who is 6/4 for the 5,000m race and 11/8 for the 10,000m, and Jess Ennis, who is 4/5 favourite to win the heptathlon. Amongst the other medal chances on the track are 2008 gold medallist Christine Ohuruogo, 7/1 for 400m gold, and European champion 400m hurdler Dai Greene, 3/1 for gold.
