Comfy Bingo Review

Review last updated on July 24, 2018

Comfy Bingo is an established brand on the rapidly expanding Live Bingo Network, which is also home to other popular sites that include names like Landmark Bingo and Aunty Acid Bingo.  Comfy Bingo was the fifth brand to launch of the Live Bingo Network back in April 2012 – a network that now has dozens of sites on it.

As with all sites on the Live Bingo Network, Comfy Bingo delivers its collection of bingo, slots and other real-money instant win games that are powered by the Cozy Games bingo platform, which not only offers games for desktop and laptop users but also to mobile players as well.  This is thanks to the HTML5 technology used to build the Cozy Games software.

Bonuses & Promotions

Comfy Bingo offers a decent selection of offers, specials and bonuses that will keep you playing for longer but unfortunately these offers are identical to the offers found at all other Live Bingo Network sites.  There are no unique promos that are exclusively available to Comfy Bingo players, which is a real shame.

When you first join the ranks at Comfy Bingo, you are rewarded with a no-deposit bonus.  This free bingo cash is followed up by a trio of deposit bonuses (first, second, and third deposit bonuses).  As if that wasn’t enough, there are then further reload bonuses depending on your loyalty level and the size of your deposits.

Other promotions that can often be found at Comfy Bingo include cashback offers when playing slots on certain days, happy hours that give extra deposit bonuses, chat games and tournaments, prize draws and much more.

Free bingo is always a welcome sight for players, which is why Comfy Bingo offers two free bingo rooms – one for funded players and one for everybody.  These two free 90-ball bingo rooms offer games that take place around the clock and they are the perfect way to get in some bingo action when your bankroll has run dry.

Software Features & Graphics

The Cozy Games bingo platform isn’t the most beautiful piece of software on the internet but it’s solid, robust and ‘comfy’ to use.  You have direct access to all of the important options from the bingo play window, such as sound and graphic toggles.  You also have useful links to places like the banking section and the lobby, all within easy reach.

The bingo play window consists of a large ticket display in the centre of the screen, a chat window on the right-hand side, with a mini-game launcher above it, a dashboard of info and links across the top and a panel on the left that doubles as the section where you buy your tickets and also the section that displays the numbers as they’re called.

Loyalty Rewards

The guys and gals at Comfy Bingo like to reward their loyal players with a little something extra, which is why they offer a loyalty scheme, which gives you bigger and better bonuses the further that you climb the VIP ladder, as shown below.

  • Silver Level: 0 to 1,000 loyalty points - 100% reload bonuses
  • Gold Level: 1.001 to 2,500 loyalty points – 150% reload bonuses
  • VIP Level: 2,501 to 5,000 loyalty points – 200% reload bonuses
  • SVIP Level: 5,001+ loyalty points – 250% reload bonuses

Bingo Games

It’s very easy to forget the actual bingo games when you’re being bombarded with bonuses here and side games there.  However, when you get down to it, you will find a great choice of the most popular bingo variants, as well as one or two less frequently found offerings.

From the Comfy Bingo lobby, you will find a dozen or so bingo rooms that offer four individual types of bingo games.

  • 90-Ball Bingo:  For most players, 90-ball bingo is the traditional way to play the famous ball-calling game.  Buy your tickets, watch the numbers fall and cross your fingers, as you play for the one-line, two-line and full house prizes.
  • 80-Ball Bingo:  80-ball bingo, or shutterboard bingo as it’s also known, is a version of bingo that is often found being played on piers and in amusement arcades at seaside locations and resorts.  You have a 4x4 ticket that features 16 squares.  There are four prizes to play for; one-line, two-line, three-line and a full house.
  • 75-Ball Bingo: 75-ball bingo, or pattern bingo as it’s also known as, is the firm favourite for US players but it has also become a hit around the world, thanks to the rise of online bingo sites.  The aim of this game is to cover all of the squares on a predetermined pattern before anybody else.  These patterns change from one game to the next, adding some variety to the game play.
  • 30-Ball Bingo: This is Comfy Bingo’s speed bingo game.  Instead of ultra-fast ball calling, this particular speed bingo variant features micro cards that have just 9 numbers on a 3x3 grid.  There are no one-line or two-line prizes.  This is a simple and straightforward full house race.

All of the Comfy Bingo rooms are hosted on the Live Bingo Network.  This means that you will be competing against other Comfy Bingo players as well as against players from other sites on the network.  This has both advantages and disadvantages.  The obvious advantage to networked bingo rooms is that they are busier and therefore they offer bigger jackpots.  However, the flipside to this is that it’s harder to win a game in busier bingo rooms, making network rooms something of a double-edged sword.

Side Games

Comfy Bingo offers a big selection of bingo side games, which include online slots, traditional casino table games and instant win scratchcards.  If you’ve played at any other Cozy Games-powered bingo sites, you will instantly recognise the line-up on offer.

All of the slots games at Comfy Bingo are five-reel, multi-line games, which is a bit of a let down if you like some variety.  The majority of the slots games are supplied by Cozy Games but there are also one or two offerings from Lightning Box Games and Electracade too.

There are half a dozen or so traditional casino games to play at Comfy Bingo, which include classics such as blackjack and roulette, as well as bingo players’ favourites like keno and video poker.

The side game collection at Comfy Bingo is rounded off with a clutch of instant win scratchcard games, which are just like the scratchcards you buy from the newsagents or corner shop.  Simply scratch off the virtual panels to see if you’re a winner.

Bingo Chat

Unlike when you play in a land-based bingo hall, chatting during games of online bingo is positively encouraged.  Having a good ol’ virtual chinwag is one of the highlights of the game for many players but just how good a bingo chat room is very often depends on the chat host.

While we were reviewing Comfy Bingo, we bumped into a couple of chat hosts, who were all keen to help us settle in.  One CH in particular - CH_DIKAS – made us feel welcome from the second we arrived in the chat room.  They were also able to help us with a number of queries, which isn’t always the case for these guardians of the chat rooms.

Progressive Games & Jackpots

Big jackpot games are often what bingo players are looking for when choosing a new bingo site to play at. Unfortunately, there are no monster jackpots up for grabs at Comfy Bingo.  You won’t find any £1,000,000 coverall games like you would at sites on the Dragonfish Bingo Network but there are a number of coverall jackpots to play for.

Many of the bingo rooms have their very own room jackpots to play for.  To grab one of these bumper prizes you must cover all of the numbers on your ticket within a certain number of calls.  The actual number of calls varies from one room to the next but this figure is clearly indicated at the top of the bingo play window.  Some of these jackpots are fixed, whereas others are progressive jackpots that are constantly climbing until they are won.

Customer Service & Support

If, for any reason you’re having difficulties or you need to get in touch with the support staff at Comfy Bingo, you can do so using a number of methods.  If you have an urgent enquiry, you can get instant help by using the live chat facility on the website or you can ask the friendly and helpful chat hosts for assistance.  If your enquiry is less urgent, you also have the option to contact support by email.

Banking & Payment Options

Funding options are always important to bingo players and Comfy Bingo has plenty of ways for to add and withdraw funds from your bingo account.  You can make deposits using most major credit and debit cards, plus you can also top up your bingo account using NETeller, PaySafeCard and Ukash vouchers.
